실을 풀어주는 let-off motion과 실을 감아주는 Take-up motion으로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 1. Let-off motion 1) negative let-off (수동, 추가장치 필요) warp beam의 움직임을 지연시키기 위해 마찰을 주며 brake를 준다. 자체적으로 회전하지 않고 warp sheet가 당기는 tension에 의해 회전한다. 2) Semi-positive let-off gear system을 활용하여 warp beam의 회전을 조절한다. 3) Positive let-off drive roll이 회전하며 warp beam이 움직임 2.
