synthetic syllabus 는 종합적 교수요목으로서 언어와 분절적 요소를 나누어 하나하나 단계별로 교육함으로서 언어의 전체 구조가 형성될 수 있도록 하기 위한 교수요목입니다. 언어를 나누는 것은 교사의 역할이고 이것을 합쳐서(synthesize) 언어의 전체구조로 형성하는 것은 학습자의 역할입니다. synthetic syllabus 에 속하는 것은 우리가 form focused instruction 에서 focus on forms 에 속하는 기법들이 있습니다.
