전설모음화(前舌母音化)[vowel fronting] 개념 앞 음절의 후설 모음 ‘ㅏ’, ‘ㅓ’, ‘ㅗ’ 'ㅜ'가 뒤 음절에 전설 모음 ‘ㅣ’가 오면 이에 끌려서 전설 모음 ‘ㅐ’, ‘ㅔ’, ‘ㅚ’, 'ㅟ' 로 변하는 현상.
