I don't know what kept me from changing the channel despite the slow, unstructured plot - but I'm glad I stayed with it. It is quite fitting that the Scary Movie series and the Austin Powers have both spoofed these absurd fight scenes. The social commentary should probably be looked at as more of a plot device than intelligent thought, but I found myself watching this movie repeatedly and enjoying it more the second and third time around.
